Our 1st House Warming Gift!

Haha! We have not even started our renovation and we have received our 1st house warming gift! By my beloved sister, Janet! Not that she cant wait to buy, but we saw this super good deal at Parkway Best Denki while shopping there today! She has earlier promised to be in charge of getting my new home rice cooker for me! And while walking past Best Denki today, this Philips Intelligent cooker caught our attention because it was stated " $99 for only limited 50 sets"! We have been eyeing this cooker for a period of time, and its retail price never change at $162. Even cheapest we ever seen at the philips roadshow was $142. Wa she was so excited and tried to hug one box to chop it! Haha! Kiasu sia! Decision was swift, she was so happy she only need to pay $99 for my gift! Here's how it looks like:

Besides the rice cooker, we have also bought ourselves a Mizudashi Cha Pot! Isetan having sale, so we bought this japanese brand green tea glass pot. It has a filter on the cover such that the tea leaves will not pour into the cups. We love drinking real green tea (without sugar) from green tea leaves! Usual price $59.90, now only at $29.90. Grab ah!

ID Diana has come out with the electrical plan and ask us to check. Wa looks like it will cost a bomb for the electrical works leh! Faint.........Haven got a quote from the electrician yet. Electrical tariffs just revised today, will cost more to switch on the lights!

Super Good Buy!

We have been looking ard for a good vacuum cleaner for 2 weeks. Actually in the mkt, there isnt much choices. The more Pro ones are from Karcher, Vax or Philips. We need one which can shampoo and clean the carpet. Being such a rare need, there is only 1 model from each brand that can do so. Vax $588, Karcher $588 (Harvery Promo $488), Philips $489. We have shortlisted Vax n Karcher initially, but who knows, on Tues I was shopping with YP at the newly opened Best Denki Ngee Ann City and chanced upon this New opening promo!

WaI was so excited and reserved one on the spot! The next day, JJ went with me and we bought the unit! Somemore we had a $300 Best Denki voucher that we haven use! So in the end we paid $98 nett only! Super happy! Here's the picture of the Vacuum Cleaner!

Being kiasu, we have already bought a few big ticket items for Atrina! Haha! Came across damn good deals so cant resist but buy first. Pray that these prices dun drop before I start using them! My Evening gown is on the Cover page of the latest Style Wedding magazine as shown below. But this is too revealing la! Haha! My designer re-designed the front part for me. He was invited by the Style Wedding to come up with a gown for this front cover. I have gone for my 1st fitting, looks ok but need some alteration.

Everything provided by HDB is included.....We have done our defect checkings, just some scratches on the bedroom parquet flooring and the main door.....hopefully they can rectify them quickly so that our ID can start work soon!
